I attained a ‘Bachelor of Fine Arts’ Degree, with Honours, in Furniture Design from the University of Tasmania in 2008.
I also have two ‘Diplomas of Art Craft and Design’ from TAFE Tasmania, one in Wood Design and one in Jewellery Design.
In 1999 I won awards from the Australian Knife Makers Guild Show in Melbourne for Best Kitchen and Utility knives. In 1999 I won the ‘Excellence in Jewellery Design’ award at the TAFE Art, Craft and Design Exhibition.
In 2002 I won ‘Excellence in Furniture Design’ at the TAFE Art Craft and Design Exhibition of that year.
I have previously and currently exhibited my work at the Biennial Designer Makers/DOT exhibitions, IXL Design, Aspect Design and Gallery Salamanca in Hobart, Saddlers Court Gallery and at the Design Centre in Launceston.
